The Answers You Need
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No. Though many people bring a partner, it is never required! We teach leading and following parts to everyone when we get the chance! If you don't have someone to dance with, we become you're partner.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! We never judge here at Mountain Home Ballroom. As long as you can move in it without strain, it's perfect!
DO I NEED CERTAIN SHOES?
Yes and No. Try not to wear rubber soled shoes, as they tend to grip the floor. Something that is smooth and slick on the bottom, and has proper ankle support is perfect. There are also reasonably priced starter ballroom shoes if you do some searching, but there is no need to buy shoes for your first class!
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO?/WHERE DO I PARK?
Our address is 905 Chase Dr. Suite 100 Johnson City, TN. You may park in the spaces in front of our sign, or behind the building. We have bright blue doors, so it's not too hard to miss us!
